Editorial Work...
Dr. Aten recently finished co-editing a special volume edition of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity, 2008, volume 26, on spirituality and clinical supervision with Michael Mangis, Ph.D. (Wheaton College).
Dr. Ev Worthington, Jr. (Virginia Commonwealth University) and and Dr. Aten are currently co-editing a special volume edition of the Journal of Clinical Psychology on treating religious clients.
He also serves on the editorial board of Rural Theology, an international interdisciplinary journal.
Similarly, he serves as an ad hoc reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals, including Training and Education in Professional Psychology, Journal of Psychology & Theology, and Counselling Psychology Quarterly.
