The purpose of these two edited books is to show mental health professionals how they can integrate spirituality and culture across the various treatment stages of counseling and psychotherapy.
By bringing together a diverse group of scholars with expertise in spirituality and culture from various mental health fields, these edited books will bridge theory and research with practice.
The primary emphasis of both books will be on application, that is, the chapter authors will provide practical strategies, techniques, and examples of how to implement spirituality and culture at each stage of treatment, from before the clinical intake to termination--providing a unique “start-to- finish” approach.
